"Health, safety and Environment in welding fabrication: risks, exposures and tools"
14th July 2010, 13.00hrs
Fabrication by welding is a complex technology including several activities to be performed in a scenery where competitiveness and marked demands are guiding factors but where sustainability should be addressed as a fundamental element. In such a framework, the attention to health and safety and environment should be considered not only a human duty, but also a compulsory right with its legal consequences and, least but not last, as a commercial tool.
This seminar is intended to define the state of the art on risk assessment procedures, on the different possible exposures and criteria for the management of reference levels, on the industrial tools already used in industry and on the research activities going on with the final goal of winning the fight of sustainability.
Organized by IIW Commission VIII "Health, Safety and Environment"
